The Institute for Minority Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the European Centre for Minority Issues agree on a Memorandum of Understanding.

ECMI and the Institute for Minority Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences have decided to co-operate in a wide range of areas within the broader field of minority studies and research. The agreement is formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding.

Among others, specific points of co-operation are:

• The strengthening of joint academic efforts
• Mutual support in teaching and training through exchange of researchers
• Common strategies on minority issues towards the European international organizations
• Library cooperation and exchange of publications
