Eszter Kovács's book „Egy kis figyelmesség” Informális hálózatok és gyakorlatok a Gyergyói-medencében (1970-1989) /'A Little Attention' Informal Networks and Practices in the Gheorgheni Basin (1970-1989) was published by Kriterion Publishing House and the Erdélyi Múzeum Egyesület in Cluj-Napoca with the support of our institute's research programme.

This book takes us back to the period between 1970 and 1989. We can find out how the "elite" personalities and civilians of the Gheorghe Basin trod the paths of institutional or individual needs, what practices they used to assert their interests against, alongside or in conjunction with the dictatorship that controlled the needs of the common people of the time.
