European Yearbook of Minority Issues Vol. 21

The latest volume of the European Yearbook of Minority Issues is now published with the contribution of the Institute, and which includes two articles by Balázs Vizi and Balázs Dobos. Their titles are:

On 14 November 2024, our colleague Nándor Bárdi presented Róbert-István Antal's book The Socialist who loved his nation - Lajos Jordáky (1913-1974) at the Institute of History of the HUN-REN Faculty of Social Sciences. The book was published by the Transylvanian Museum Association and Kriterion Publishing House.

Transnational Participation of Minorities (ELTE TÁTK, November 21-22)

Balázs Dobos and Balázs Vizi will attend the conference entitled "Transnational Participation of Minorities" at the ELTE's Faculty of Social Sciences on 21-22 November. The titles of their presentations are: Balázs Vizi: Social integration and/or minority rights – how does the FCNM Advisory Committee identify Roma issues? Balázs Dobos: Territoriality and political participation. Cultural autonomies and minority parliamentary representation in Central and South Eastern Europe.
