A beszámolóhoz számos kiegészítõ javaslatot tettek a Bizottság tagjai, köztük Bauer Edit, Gál Kinga, Mohácsi Viktória és Járóka Lívia magyar EP-képviselõk. A végleges szöveg valószínûleg május 25-26-án kerül az Európai Parlament elé.

English summary

On 25 April 2005 the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee of the European Parliament has adopted the report of Claude Moraes, MEP (Socialist Group) on the protection of minorities and anti-discrimination policies following the EU enlargement. The EPP-ED Group nominated Edit Bauer MEP to prepare a shadow report on the matter. Hungarian MEPs, Kinga Gál, Lívia Járóka and Viktória Mohácsi have presented several amendments to the report in the Committee. Kinga Gál presented a number of proposals regarding the distinction between immigrant and indogenous ethnic minorities, Lívia Járóka and Viktória Mohácsi called attention to the specific situation of the Roma in their proposed amendments to the report. The final version of the report is likely to be adopted by the plenary session of the European Parliament before June.
