The volume entitled Hullóidő. Székely identitásépítés a 19-20. században [The construction of Szekler identity in the 19th-20th centuries] was published. The work was produced at the HUN-REN CSS Institute for Minority Studies. The authors are: Ablonczy Balázs, Bárdi Nándor, Bokor Zsuzsa, Mohay Tamás, Nagy Szabolcs, Orbán Zsolt, Sándor Klára,  Szőcsné Gazda Enikő,  Tompa Zsófia, Vallasek Júlia.

The HUN-REN CSS Institute for Minority Studies and the Haáz Rezső Museum in Odorheiu Secuiesc are organizing a conference on the history of minorities entitled Transylvanian Hungarians in the 20th century with 22 speakers, film and book presentations on 21-22 June in Odorheiu Secuiesc. Ágnes Tóth will give a presentation on 20 June 2024 in Freiburg at the international coference "Standortbestimmung, Intentionen und Perspektiven der Minderheitenkultur der Deutschen in Ungarn gegenwärtig" organised by the Institut für Volkskunde der Deutschen des östlichen Europa (IVDE). Her presentation is entitled: Die "Rückkehrer" / "Hazatértek". Eine Ausnahmeerscheinung in der ungarndeutschen Minderheit.

Our colleague, Tamás Gusztáv Filep will give a presentation on 14 June at the Forum Social Science Review conference "Science in the Hungarian Minority Context" in Šamorín. His presentation will be entitled: Literature-centred science - scientific interpretation of literature and history.

Our colleague, Eszter Kovács will be signing her book entitled ’Elismerés és megszólítottság. Magyar diaszpórapolitika makro- és mezoszintű megközelítésben’ and published by Gondolat at the 95th Festive Book Week of Budapest on 16 June 2024 at 5 p.m. All interested readers are welcome at the event.
